Benevolent Ally?

A V II bishop wishes Tradcats well? –
But can he see how V II leads to Hell?

Bishop Athanasius Schneider, originally from Germany but now a Bishop of Astana in Kazakhstan, has made himself known to Traditionalists in recent years for his many statements at least apparently sympathetic to Catholic Tradition. For instance last year he associated himself publicly with the four Cardinals’ questioning of Pope Francis’ doctrine in the papal document, Amoris Laetitia. When he himself does so much to criticize the Church swinging “left,” he may not understand or appreciate coming under attack from the “right,” but it is the Truth which is at stake, not our little personalities. Your Excellency, thank you for much truth that you have had the courage openly to defend, but do understand that the full Truth is much stronger, and more demanding, than you think. You gave recently an interview to Adelante la Fe. Please do not take it personally if I quote (in italics) a few of your answers and criticize them:—

I am convinced that in the present circumstances, Msgr. Lefebvre would accept Rome’s canonical proposal of a Personal Prelature without hesitation. Your Excellency, that is impossible. Archbishop Lefebvre believed, and proved by argument from Church theology and history, that Vatican II was an unprecedented betrayal, by the highest authorities in the Church, of 1900 years of unchangeable Church doctrine. But official Rome is still following that objectively treacherous Council. Therefore to put the SSPX under this Rome will be to put the fox in charge of the hen-coop. The Archbishop always hoped Rome would come right. It has still not done so.

Msgr. Lefebvre was a man with a deep”sensus ecclesiae,” or sense of the Church. That is true, because above all he had a deep and clear grasp of Catholic doctrine, or teaching, which is at the heart of the Church. “Going, TEACH all nations,” was Jesus’ last instruction to his Apostles (M t.XXVIII , 20). Vatican II betrayed Catholic doctrine, so the Archbishop’s very sense of the Church made him repudiate that Council. Today’s Conciliarists in Rome can never rebuild the Church.

He consecrated four bishops in 1988 because he was convinced that there was a real state of necessity. It was the objective crisis that gave rise to the subjective conviction, and not the other way round. Our modern world is mentally sick with subjectivism. The Archbishop was an objectivist.

If the SSPX remains canonically independent for too long, its members and followers will lose their sense of the need to be subject to the Pope, and they will end up ceasing to be Catholic. The Pope is Pope in order to “confirm his brethren” in the Faith. See Luke XXII, 32. If he is a Conciliar Pope with his faith corrupted by Vatican II, he can no longer give what he has not got. It is by being subject to Conciliar Popes that countless Catholics since the Council have lost the true Faith.

No Catholic can pick and choose which Popes he will or will not be subject to. God guides His Church. The present crisis in the Church is unprecedented because never before in Church history has there been a series of Popes out of line with the true Faith as we have seen since Vatican II. This means that Catholics must – exceptionally – judge their Popes, bishops and priests. By this crisis God is purifying His Church, and when the purification is complete, He will grant to His Church a great and truly Catholic Pope.

I have told Bishop Fellay, we in Rome need the SSPX in today’s great battle for the purity of the Faith. Your Excellency, do believe that Conciliar Rome will do its best to complete the SSPX’s corruption of the Faith. Already the official SSPX has slidden far from the Archbishop’s objective Faith.

Kyrie eleison.

[6] And I saw another angel flying through the midst of heaven, having the eternal gospel, to preach unto them that sit upon the earth, and over every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people: [7] Saying with a loud voice: Fear the Lord, and give him honour, because the hour of his judgment is come; and adore ye him, that made heaven and earth, the sea, and the fountains of waters. [8] And another angel followed, saying: That great Babylon is fallen, is fallen; which made all nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. [9] And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice: If any man shall adore the beast and his image, and receive his character in his forehead, or in his hand; [10] He also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mingled with pure wine in the cup of his wrath, and shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the sight of the holy angels, and in the sight of the Lamb.

Apologia pro Marcel Lefebvre: On Fasting and Abstinence 14 February 1982

Apologia pro Marcel Lefebvre – Volume 3, Chapter LXII

Fasting and Abstinence

14 February 1982

My dear brethren,

According to an ancient and salutary tradition in the Church, on the occasion of the beginning of Lent, I address these words to you in order to encourage you to enter into this penitential season wholeheartedly, with the dispositions willed by the Church and to accomplish the purpose for which the Church prescribes it.

If I look in books from the early part of this century, I find that they indicate three purposes for which the Church has prescribed this penitential time:

* first, in order to curb the concupiscence of the flesh;
* then, to facilitate the elevation of our souls toward divine realities;
* finally, to make satisfaction for our sins.

Our Lord gave us the example during His life, here on earth: pray and do penance. However, Our Lord, being free from concupiscence and sin, did penance and made satisfaction for our sins, thus showing us that our penance may be beneficial not only for ourselves but also for others.

Pray and do penance. Do penance in order to pray better, in order to draw closer to Almighty God. This is what all the saints have done, and this is that of which all the messages of the Blessed Virgin remind us.

Would we dare to say that this necessity is less important in our day and age than in former times? On the contrary, we can and we must affirm that today, more than ever before, prayer and penance are necessary because everything possible has been done to diminish and denigrate these two fundamental elements of Christian life.

Never before has the world sought to satisfy – without any limit, the disordered instincts of the flesh, even to the point of the murder of millions of innocent, unborn children. One would come to believe that society has no other reason for existence except to give the greatest material standard of living to all men in order that they should not be deprived of material goods.

Thus we can see that such a society would be opposed to what the Church prescribes. In these times, when even Churchmen align themselves with the spirit of this world, we witness the disappearance of prayer and penance-particularly in their character of reparation for sins and obtaining pardon for faults. Few there are today who love to recite Psalm 50, the Miserere, and who say with the psalmist, Peccatum meum contra me est semper-“My sin is always before me.” How can a Christian remove the thought of sin if the image of the crucifix is always before his eyes?

At the Council the bishops requested such a diminution of fast and abstinence that the prescriptions have practically disappeared. We must recognize the fact that this disappearance is a consequence of the ecumenical and Protestant spirit which denies the necessity of our participation for the application of the merits of Our Lord to each one of us for the remission of our sins and the restoration of our divine affiliation [i.e., our character as adoptive sons of God].

In the past the commandments of the Church provided for:

* an obligatory fast on all days of Lent with the exception of Sundays, for the three ember days and for many vigils;
* abstinence was for all Fridays of the year, the Saturdays of Lent and, in numerous dioceses, all the Saturdays of the year.

What remains of these prescriptions-the fast for Ash Wednesday and Good Friday and abstinence for Ash Wednesday and the Fridays of Lent.

One wonders at the motives for such a drastic diminution. Who are obliged to observe the fast? -adults from age 21 to 60. And who are obliged to observe abstinence? -all the faithful from the age of 7 years.

What does fasting mean? To fast means to take only one (full) meal a day to which one may add two collations (or small meals), one in the morning, one in the evening which, when combined, do not equal a full meal.

What is meant by abstinence? By abstinence is meant that one abstains from meat.

The faithful who have a true spirit of faith and who profoundly understand the motives of the church which have been mentioned above, will wholeheartedly accomplish not only the light prescriptions of today but, entering into the spirit of Our Lord and of the Blessed Virgin Mary, will endeavor to make reparation for the sins which they have committed and for the sins of their family, their neighbors, friends and fellow citizens.

It is for this reason that they will add to the actual prescriptions. These additional penances might be to fast for all Fridays of Lent, abstinence from all alcoholic beverages, abstinence from television, or other similar sacrifices. They will make an effort to pray more, to assist more frequently at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, to recite the Rosary, and not to miss evening prayers with the family. They will detach themselves from their superfluous material goods in order to aid the seminaries, help establish schools, help their priests adequately furnish the chapels and to help establish novitiates for nuns and brothers.

The prescriptions of the Church do not concern fast and abstinence alone but the obligation of the Paschal Communion (Easter Duty) as well. Here is what the Vicar of the Diocese of Sion, in Switzerland, recommended to the faithful of that diocese on 20 February 1919:

1. During Lent, the pastors will have the Stations of the Cross twice a week; one day for the children of the schools and another day for the other parishioners. After the Stations of the Cross, they will recite the Litany of the Sacred Heat
2. During Passion Week, which is to say, the week before Palm Sunday, there will be a Triduum in all parish churches, Instruction, Litany of the Sacred Heart in the Presence of the Blessed Sacrament, Benediction. In these instructions the pastors will simply and clearly remind their parishioners of the principal conditions to receive the Sacrament of Penance worthily.
3. The time during which one may fulfill the Easter Duty has been set for all parishes from Passion Sunday to the first Sunday after Easter.

Why should these directives no longer be useful today? Let us profit from this salutary time during the course of which Our Lord is accustomed to dispense grace abundantly. Let us not imitate the foolish virgins who having no oil in their lamps found the door of the bridegroom’s house closed and this terrible response: Nescio vos-“I know you not.” Blessed are they who have the spirit of poverty for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. The spirit of poverty means the spirit of detachment from things of this world.

Blessed are they who weep for they shall be consoled. Let us think of Jesus in the Garden of Olives who wept for our sins. It is henceforth for us to weep for our sins and for those of our brethren.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for holiness for they shall be satisfied. Holiness-sanctity is attained by means of the Cross, penance and sacrifice. If we truly seek perfection then we must follow the Way of the Cross.

May we, during this Lenten Season, hear the call of Jesus and Mary and engage ourselves to follow them in this crusade of prayer and penance.

May our prayers, our supplications, and our sacrifices obtain from heaven the grace that those in places of responsibility in the Church return to her true and holy traditions, which is the only solution to revive and reflourish the institutions of the Church again.

Let us love to recite the conclusion of the Te Deum: In te Doming, speravi; non confundar in aeternum-“In Thee, O Lord, I have hoped. I will not be confounded in eternity.”

Traditional Catholic bishops consecrated at Ecône in 1988 [Video]

Deo Gratias, Archbisop Lefebvre!

Bishop Fellay: Quo Vadis? 😦

Pray for The Consecration of Russia  to The Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Archbishop Lefebvre Ordains Group of Rebel Priests 1976

Lefebvre1976

Deo Gratias!

Ave Maria!

Without The Archbishop ordaining the then 4 Bishops out of a State of Emergency, we would not have The Traditional Catholic Teachings and Latin Mass: both True To Christ. We would have no future. Pope Paul VI was in error; God have mercy on his soul.

Thank you, Archbishop Lefebvre. Requiescat in pace. Amen.

What IS Bishop Fellay?

Fellay This post expresses my personal thoughts and concerns; no one else’s.

 I wonder: is Bisop Fellay experiencing the “…diabolical disorientation…” Sister Lucia mentions to Fr. Fuentes and others?

Consider some possibilities:

1. He is confused due to some malady of mind and/or body clouding his reason;

2. He is Diabolically possessed;

3. He was an infiltrator and a liar from the beginning, only “…coming out…” just now, via piece by piece in his words and actions;

4. He became ambitious after experiencing the glitz and power of The Roman, Apostate Authorities through visiting and meeting with them over the past several years, at least;

5. His Grace is doing the bidding of his “advisors” in The Neo-SSPX: Fr. Schmidberger, Fr. Pfluger, Fr. Rostand, and Fr. Wegner, to usurp The Society and as traitors, place it in the hands of the Roman Apostates who have been planning to dissolve Tradition, The Mass, True Sacraments and Teachings since The Society’s birth;

“Oh, what a tangles web we weave when first we practice to deceive.” – Sir Walter Scott

Radagast: “The Greenwood is sick, Gandalf. A darkness has fallen over it. Nothing grows anymore, at least nothing good. The air is fouled decay, but worst are the webs.”

Pray for him to return to Tradition and not to make a pact with Apostate Rome until Rome converts, as The Founder, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre insisted. Bishop Fellay and his “advisors” twist the story, claiming The Archbishop did sign with Rome, but that is taken out of context: Archbishop Lefebvre realized his mistake, and did not sign, at the last moment.

Wise Archbishop!

Pray for The Consecration of Russia to The Immaculate Heart of Mary. When that happens, the errors WILL be reversed (which Apostate Rome fears!), and although it will be late, we will also realize lesser chastisements, but we will not be able to stop them all, or stop The Antichrist, who will rise to his public function in the near future.

Bishop Fellay Appointed by Rome to Judge!

Bishop Fellay Appointed by Rome to Judge!
by Br. Joseph
Other internet websites have transcribed what Bishop Fellay said in this talk on May 10, 2015 at Our Lady of the Angels Roman Catholic Church in Arcadia, California. Specifically at the 35:11 mark.

Notice what Bishop Fellay talks about before this disclosure. As in many other talks, he complains that he has received contradictory advice from different departments in the Vatican. In other words, he admits that for over six years he has been talking, “dialoguing” with Rome.

This is contradictory to the policy of Archbishop Lefebvre who refused to dialogue until Rome converts to Tradition. Have Pope Benedict and/or Pope Francis converted during that six year period?
Not only has Bishop Fellay been dialoguing, but in this talk, he discloses that he was appointed by Rome to judge his trouble-making (Resistance) priests!

The Archbishop would likewise be subject to Bishop Fellay’s judgment were he alive today! Would he too be expelled from his Society?

Excerpt from Bishop Fellay’s talk:

… “We are labelled now as being irregular at best, irregular means you cannot do anything and so for example they have prohibited us from saying Mass in the churches in Rome for the Dominican sisters who had their pilgrimage in Rome in February. They say “no you cannot because you are irregular.” And these people say that. They are people of Ecclesia Dei.
“Now, sometimes, unfortunately, also priests do silly things, and they need to be punished, and when it is very very serious, we have to make recourse to Rome; so we do. And what does the Congregation of the Faith do? Well, they did appoint me as the judge for this case. So I was appointed by Rome, by the Congregation of the Faith to make judgments, canonical Church judgments on some of our priests who belong to the non-existent Society for them and so once again on a beautiful contradiction indeed.”
