The Death of a Just Man – Sermon

[NOTE: Please pray for Fr. Voigt who is ill and needs our assistance. Thank You.]

Have you considered the mustard seed or have you meditated upon the leaven? Both push us to realize that great result come from small packages. But the saints ask us to consider Who is the Mustard Seed and Who is the leaven? The answer is clearly our Lord Jesus Christ. From the small beginnings in Bethlehem His Person has been preached to the whole world by the littlest and most insignificant band of 12 men. Kingdoms could not stop His Kingship. Tyrants failed to stop His martyrs from spreading the seed of His Truth.

Imagine if you can the death of one who has been bitten by the life of Jesus. He is the just man who seeks throughout life to let the mustard seed grow and the leaven increase so that one day he might proclaim with the saints of old the truth expressed by St. Paul who said “I live, no, not I but rather Christ lives in me.” This is the mystery of the mustard seed and the leaven. Every time we read the word of God, every time we listen to a sermon, every time we think or speak an eternal thought the Lord Jesus is increasing within us. As St. John the Baptist said, “He must increase and I must decrease.”

For this reason the just man perceives death as the moment of the three fold release. First the just man is released from the trials, works, and tribulations of our worldly existence. No longer is he concerned about doing this or that. The final testis here and he has chosen the will of God over all the trials that the world, the flesh or the devil possess to cause him to lose his soul. Death becomes that welcomed door to life in Christ completely. Death is the last barrier and the mustard seed disposition opens that door to eternity.

The second release that death offers the Just man is the freedom now from all actual sins. No longer does sin hold any power over the just soul that offers his/her death in union with the Cross of Christ for the sanctification and salvation of souls. The just commitment to eternal life stands as a secure source of strength against the deceits of the devil and the pleasures of this world. The Mustard Seed has come to its powerful presence and the leaven of Christ’s life in the individual has been realized. The door of death frees the just man from the ugliness of actual sin.

Finally, the door of death signifies a victory over the kingdom of hell. The test is over and the just man has proven his worth and now is free of the worry of losing his soul. What a great day this is when a soul has conquered sin and death through the imitation of Christ. There is no longer a possibility of losing one’s soul. Now all is directed to the glory of God’s will and the song of praise that rings throughout the heavens. All of this because the Mustard Seed came down from heaven and so loved the souls in this world that He gave His only life for the salvation of souls who would believe and accept the gift of eternal life. The truths of the Lord seem so small and simple compared to the machinations of philosophers, the allurements of the politicians. Yet these simple truths have an absolute conclusion: the salvation
of the soul leavened by Jesus Himself. Study the Mustard Seed and wrap up in the leaven of Divine Life and you will know Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.

To suffer and to die … this is the mark of the Christ and found at the end of every just life.

P.S. Thank you for the prayers as I suffer a broken rib and battle a leaky heart valve. Next step is to determine whether the organ of the heart can be repaired through nutrition or not. I will let you know as my days go by. God bless you all.

Look up, Look beyond and take up.

From Fr.  Richard Voigt:

Where can we bread enough to feed these thousands? Jesus tested Philip and He is
testing us now. Philip answered in human terms that not even 200 days wages would be enough to give these people a bite each. In other words, it is humanly impossible to satisfy this situation. Now Andrew comes to the rescue with the five loaves and two fish that a boy in the crowd possessed. What are these among so many? Now comes the divine action.

Jesus looked up and gave the Father thanks. He looked beyond the human and challenges everyone of us in this moment to recall what the divine can do.

Jesus began to break the bread for a broken people. He broke bread and fish and satisfied the human hunger of the multitude. Today we are hungry for virtue to return. Corruption is human starvation for the Truth, for Goodness and for Beauty. We are all longing for a social change to conquer the evils of abortion, contraception, theft, obesity, immodesty and all the other effects of the demonic. We are a people heading toward enslavement by the demonic Jewry who are doing the Evil One’s bidding. They are evil and they want the death of every Christian. Have no doubt that this is a demonic age and it will result in bloodshed everywhere unless we turn to the divine means given us. We must feed on the true Bread of Life and not the false bread of the Novus Ordo mass.

Jesus alone distributed the bread and fish to the multitude and Jesus alone can cast out the demonic in politics, in finance and in the Conciliar Church. The neo-SSPX is falling into the demonic trap as it quietly desires a prelature. Souls in their chapels will be surprised one day to find that they are now Conciliar Catholics and their hunger for the truth will turn to a starvation. The preachers who should give us the Bread of Sincerity will be offering us the bread of compromise. All in the name of “legitimacy in the Novus Ordo Church Construct.”

The little boy that had the five loaves and two fish represents the Jewish nation that had the five books of Moses, the commandments, the priesthood and the kingship. They had all the ingredients to help the world come to the feet of Jesus and they rebelled and slew the King of kings. The Catholic Church had the true sacraments to feed each of us on the Bread of Life.

But now they have sold out to the “perfidious Jew” and are purchasing their own demise because no Son of Satan can do any good. The Catholic Church has been betrayed by its own leaders through a slippery slope of infiltrators who have brought us a new doctrine in contradiction to the words and works of Jesus Himself.

Where do we go then to find the Bread of Life? Only the catacombs of today can bring us the Bread of Life. Go to the humble homes of believers who know that God can multiple the loaves and fish again. Hence He will bring us the King of kings and the eternal Priest Who shall feed us with His eternal truth. The war is on and the battle lines have been drawn: it is either fall in line with the Masonic “Catholic” Church or seek the priests who will stand by our Lord and take up the fragments of people’s faith life and bring it to the Lord. Time is rapidly coming to a decisive battle; one hundred twenty nations are preparing for war; human beings are
seeking to form a one world government.

Where do you turn?

I will turn to our Blessed Mother and as a simple son of Mary cry out for the consecration ofRussia to her Immaculate Heart. As nations begin to be wiped off the face of this earth perhaps the Catholic faith will return and stand up against a complete annihilation and feed the world again the Truth. There is but one faith; there is but one baptism and there is but one way to the kingdom of God. It is through incorporation into the Mystical Body of Jesus. Let us follow the Lamb of God Who shed His Blood on Calvary and continues to multiply that saving drink
daily upon the altars of the true sacrifice. Come, Lord Jesus, come.

Sunday Reflection: What’s in a Pot?

cana

There were six pots at the very entrance of the wedding feast and one by one the guests took some of the water for the purification of their hands and feet. After they did so they entered the marriage feast. Little by little the water was used and the pots became empty. Emptiness is the condition for the divine presence to become active. If a soul is so filled with self there is no room for the Lord to do any work but when that soul humbles itself then it becomes a fit subject for the Divine activity. Let us then expose the meaning of the Marriage Feast from the perspective of the 6 stone pots. Consider their purpose, their conditions, and their eternal significance.

Why focus on a pot of all things? There is a purpose which is more significant than one might at first think. These pots are tied to the purification of the bodies of those who came to celebrate the marriage. Purity is a prime consideration in our lives if we are to achieve the kingdom of God. Hence the pots perform the purpose of recalling our need to cleanse ourselves in the water that will flow from the side of our Lord on Calvary. Remember that sin befouls us and must be removed if we are to enter the heart of our God. So consider that there are six pots in order to remind us of the six ages of the world.

First is the age of man from Adam to Noah in which man became so polluted that God rained down upon all mankind the cleansing waters of the flood. Then the age from Noah to Abraham in which God began forming the family of faith with the Father of Faith in Abraham. Next we move from Abraham to David in which the uniqueness of the true God calls upon David to repent of his sins and to walk in righteousness. From David we move to the Babylonian exile in which God humbled the pride of the chosen people. After the Babylonian exile we approach the greatest of all men proclaiming a baptism of repentance at the river Jordan. John the Baptist concludes the ages of preparation and purification with his cry, “Behold the Lamb of God, He  Who takest away the sins of the world.”

The final age has begun with our Lord revealing the invitation to the marriage feast of heaven for all those who have cleansed their garments in the Blood of the Lamb. We are in the final days of the quest of God for the souls that desire to come to the marriage feast of the Lamb. Everyone must DESIRE to attain the kingdom of God through the PURIFICATION of their souls. Recall our Lady’s last words uttered in Scripture: “They have no more wine.” This is the state of our world today. How did we come to such a sorry situation?

Instead of humbling ourselves and realizing the truth that we are merely “contingent” beings and not necessary. We usurped the position of God Himself and we seek to make this world our heaven. It is not. In the pots we find the answer for the pots went through a process which includes the human and flows into the divine. First the pots were used for the purification rite; then they were empty; Our Lady recognized the plight of the married couple and calls upon her Son to begin the salvation process; Jesus calls for the human to fill up the pots to the brim; then
take them to the waiter in charge. From the human comes the fruit of the divine – a brilliant and delicious wine. Now from the emptiness there is a fullness that can only come from God.

Our age is the last age. It will be our responsibility to place the hearts of Jesus and Mary in the central position of our soul. Do this by frequently praying the holy rosary; repeat daily the litany of the Blessed Mother; wear her scapular and encourage others to turn to her for all their needs. Writer after writer these days are beating the drums of societal death. It has to happen. This society is founded on the principles of man first, God maybe later. Imagine a Creator denied a room in an inn and forced to be born in a cave. It must be that men and women come to their senses and return totally in purity to the love of God. Our response depends on what is in our pot. Is it empty then it is time to fill it with water. Is it filled with the water of the world then it must be brought into the presence of its Savior and blush. With the blush of the water the wine will bring joy to our hearts and we will know that we belong to our Lord and our Lady.

This is the last age of man let us use the time we have left to purify our hearts, our minds and our physical strength for the works of God.
